VEHICLES WE SHIP

Shipping for the Vehicle You Drive

Vehicle dimensions and condition matter when choosing a carrier. Share the year, make, model, and any modifications so we can quote the right equipment.

Car Shipping

Sedans, coupes, hatchbacks, and other passenger cars can often travel on a standard open carrier. Ask about enclosed transport if you prefer additional protection from road exposure.

Truck Shipping

Pickup trucks may need different trailer space depending on their length, height, tires, lift kit, or accessories. Tell us about any modifications before booking.

SUV Shipping

Compact, midsize, and full-size SUVs can be shipped nationwide. Larger or heavier SUVs may affect carrier availability and price, so accurate vehicle details help avoid surprises.

TRANSPORT OPTIONS

Choose How Your Vehicle Travels

We help match your vehicle and priorities with an available carrier. Your quote will reflect the option you select and the details of the route.

Open Auto Transport

Open carriers are commonly used for everyday cars, trucks, and SUVs. Vehicles are exposed to weather and normal road conditions during transit. Explore open transport →

Enclosed Auto Transport

An enclosed trailer offers more protection from road exposure and may suit a specialty or high-value vehicle. Availability and price vary by route and vehicle size. Explore enclosed transport →

Door-to-Door Service

The carrier aims to pick up and deliver as close to your addresses as safely and legally possible. Narrow streets, low branches, or local restrictions may require a nearby meeting point. How door-to-door works →

  • Open versus enclosed carrier availability
  • Timing, season, and current carrier demand

BEFORE PICKUP

Prepare Your Vehicle for Transport

Check Its Condition

Take dated photos of the exterior and note existing damage. At pickup, review the condition recorded on the bill of lading.

Secure Loose Items

Remove personal items and toll tags. Secure or disclose aftermarket accessories, roof racks, and modifications that affect clearance.

Make It Ready to Load

Provide working keys and disclose mechanical issues. If it cannot start, steer, or roll, tell us before quoting so we can discuss suitable equipment.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Car, Truck & SUV Shipping FAQs

How much does it cost to ship a car, truck, or SUV?

Cost depends on the route, vehicle dimensions, running condition, transport type, timing, and carrier availability. Trucks and larger SUVs may cost more than a standard sedan because they take more trailer space. Request a quote with both ZIP codes for pricing tailored to your shipment.

How long does vehicle shipping take?

Timing depends on the distance, route, pickup window, weather, and carrier schedule. We can discuss an estimated window for your route, but pickup and delivery dates may change in transit.

Can you ship an inoperable car or truck?

It may be possible when the condition is disclosed in advance and a carrier with the right loading equipment is available. Tell us whether the vehicle can roll, steer, and brake so the quote reflects the needed equipment.

Is my vehicle insured during transport?

We arrange transport with motor carriers and review their operating authority and insurance information. Coverage is subject to the carrier’s policy and exclusions. Ask for the carrier’s insurance details and inspect the vehicle at pickup and delivery.

Do I have to meet the carrier at my home?

Door-to-door service means the driver aims to get as close as safely and legally possible. If the street cannot accommodate a large carrier, you and the driver can agree on a nearby accessible location.
